Ingredients :
Nattu Cholam \ Vella Cholam Flour - 2 cups
Boiling Water - required
Salt to Taste. |
Steps To Make The Naatu Cholam Idiyappam :
- To make the idiyappam dough, dry roast the flour in a heavy bottom kadhai and allow to cool. (Image 1)
- Transfer the roasted flour in to the mixing bowl, add required salt and boiling water, and knead into soft dough. (Image 2 and 3)
- Fill the dough in the idiyappam maker. (Image 4)

- Parallely heat two centimeter of water in the idly pan. (Image 5)
- To make the idiyappam, grease the idly plate or use wet cloth and make the idiyappam. (Image 6)
- Arrange the prepared plates in the idly pan, close the lid and steam for 15mins (+ or -).
- Then transfer the steamed idiyappam into the serving plates and ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with the coconut milk or coconut shreds and sugar. |
