Easy Egg Fried Rice | Mixed Vegetable and Scrambled Egg FriedRice

Basmathi Rice - 1 and 1/2 cup (washed)
Egg - 2 no
Garlic - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Green Chilli - 2 no (slit)
Carrot - 1/2 cup (1/4" chopped)
Beans - 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
Cabbage - 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
Soya Sauce - 1 tbsp
Ajinomoto - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp + 3 tbsp
Salt to Taste. |
Steps To Make The Egg Fried Rice :
- First pressure cook the basmathi rice with 2 and 1/4 cup of water and required salt for 1 whistle and 3mins over simmer. When all the steam has released open the pan and keep aside. (Image 1)

- Meantime make the scrambled egg with a tablespoon of oil and required salt, keep aside. (Image 2)
- Then heat remaining oil in a kadhai and saute the garlic. (Image 3)
- Stir in the carrot and green chilli for 2 mins (+ or -). (Image 4)
- Again stir in the beans for 2 mins (+ or -). (Image 5)

- Then stir in the cabbage for an minute or until all the vegetables turns tender. (Image 6)
- Add in the soya sauce and ajinomoto and mix well. (Image 7)
- Finally add the cooked basmathi rice and scrambled egg, mix well and ready to serve. (Image 8 and 9)

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with the chilli chicken or fried chicken. |
