Steps To Make The Pori Urundai \ Puffed Rice Balls :
- To make the jaggery syrup and to remove the impurities, boil half a cup of water in a pan and add in the jaggery and cook till its dissolved completely. (Image 1)
- Then filter the syrup in to a kadhai and cook until the syrup reached soft ball consistency. (Image 2 and 3)
- The soft ball consistency is, just drop a teaspoon of jaggery syrup into the bowl of water. If the jaggery syrup is dissolved in the water, it not ready. If it doesn't dissolved in the water and able to make a balls means it reached the right consistency. (Image 4)

- Turn off the flame, add in the cardamom seeds powder and mix well. (Image 5)
- Add in the pori \ puffed rice and mix altogether. (Image 6 and 7)
- Working quickly, grease your palms with ghee and make small balls. (Image 8)
- Cool completely and store in a air-tight box.
