Traditionally kebab is made of minced meat, spices, and grilled over charcoal. Lets see how to make very simple and easy home style Mutton Keema Tawa Kebab | Minced Mutton Kebab made with the coriander leaves and mint leaves.

Ingredients :

Mutton \ Meat Keema - 150 gm
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Garlic - 2 cloves
Coriander Leaves - 1/4 cup
Mint Leaves - 1/4 cup
Green Chilli - 1 no
Pepper - 1 tsp
Egg - 1 no
Oil \ Butter - required
Salt to Taste.

Steps To Make The Green Mutton Tawa Kebab :

  • To make the green masala, dry roast the ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chili and pepper in a hot kadhai. (Image 1 and 2)
  • Then cool the roasted ingredients, grind into coarsely or fine paste and the green masala is ready to marinate. (Image 3 and 4)

  • To marinate, combine the mutton \ goat meat, ground green masala, salt and egg into soft dough and let it marinate for 10 to 15minutes. (Image 5 and 6)
  • To make the kebab, apply oil on both the hands and make kebab of 8 to 10 inches using bamboo skewers and flat it. (Image 7)

  • Shallow fry the prepared kebabs on hot tawa with required oil \ butter, cook over lower flame, until all side turns golden brown colour.
  • Ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Naan, Biryani or mint chutney.
