Ingredients :

Cauliflower paratha

For Stuffing:


Cauliflower - 1no small
Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp
Crushed Ginger Garlic - 1tsp
Green Chili - 1 no (finely chopped)
Onion - 1 no (finely chopped)
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1\2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1\2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1\4 tsp + 1\4 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1\2 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt To Taste.

For Dough:


Maida - 2 cup
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Salt as required
Water as required.

Method :
Cauliflower paratha

Steps To Make The Cauliflower Paratha:

  • To make the paratha dough, mix the maida, ghee and salt in a mixing bowl. Then add the required water and knead into soft dough. (Image 1, 2 and 3)
  • Cover the dough and set for 30minutes.
  • Then divide the dough into 10 equal parts or required size.

  • To make the paratha stuffing, heat 2 cups of water, 1\4 tsp of turmeric powder and 1\2 tsp of salt. (Image 4)
  • Then immerse the cauliflower in the turmeric water for about 10 minutes. (Image 5)
  • Take the cauliflower, finely grate and keep aside. (Image 6)

  • Heat the oil in a hot kadhai, stir in the fennel seeds. (Image 7)
  • Add the ginger garlic and green chili, stir for few seconds. (Image 8)
  • Add the onion and saute until the onion turns golden colour. (Image 9)
  • Add the grated cauliflower, sprinkle some water and required water, mix and cook for 5minutes till dry. (Image 10)
  • Then add the cumin seeds powder, garam masala, turmeric powder and pepper powder, saute for an minute. (Image 11 and 12)
  • Cool the cauliflower mixture completely.

  • To make the cauliflower paratha, take one part of dough and roll into small circle. (Image 13)
  • To stuff, place some prepared cauliflower mixture in the center and seal the edges. (Image 14 and 15)
  • Then carefully roll the paratha into thin circle with some flour. (Image 16)
  • Cook on a heated tawa on both side with required ghee till the brown spots appear. (Image 17)
  • Do the same for the remaining.

Serving Suggestion: Serve hot with onion raita.
