Ingredients :

Mutton Chili Cashew Gravy
Mutton | Goat Meat - 250 gm
Ripened Chili - 5 no
Ginger - 1 inch
Garlic - 3 cloves
Cinnamon Stick - 2" long
Cloves - 3 no
Cardamom - 2 pod
Coconut Milk - 1 and 1\2 cup
Cashew nuts - 1\4 cup
Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
Crystal Salt - as required
Oil - 2 tbsp.

Method :
Mutton Chili Cashew Gravy

Steps To Make The Mutton Chili Cashew Gravy with Coconut Milk Recipe:

  • First grind the ripened chili, ginger and garlic coarsely. (Image 1 and 2)
  • To make the gravy, heat the oil in a pressure cooker pan and roast the cinnamon stick, cloves and cardamom. (Image 3)
  • Add the ground chili mixture and saute for few seconds. (Image 4)

  • Add the mutton pieces and saute for two minutes. (Image 5)
  • Add the coconut milk and required salt, mix well and bring to boil. (Image 6 and 7)
  • Cover and pressure cook for an whistle and 15 to 20 minutes over simmer. When all the steam has released, open the pan. (Image 8)

  • Meantime, soak the cashews with some hot water for about 20 minutes. Then grind into fine paste with required water. (Image 10)

  • Then add the cashews paste into the pressure cooked gravy, mix well and cook for 3 to 5minutes over simmer. (Image 12)
  • Finally add the pepper powder, mix well, cook for an minutes and ready to serve. (Image 13 and 14)
