Ingredients : |
Boneless Seer Fish - 250 gm (chunks, 1" size) |
Buttermilk - 1 cup |
Green Chili - 1 no (finely chopped) |
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp |
Garlic Powder - 1 tsp |
Onion Powder - 1 tsp |
Pepper Powder - 1 tsp |
Bread Crumbs - 1\4 cup |
Maida - 2 tbsp |
Salt - as required |
Oil - deep fry |
Method : |
In a mixing bowl, add the buttermilk, green chili, garam masala and required salt, mix well. Add the fish chunks and marinate for half an hour. |
Drain the fish chunks from the buttermilk mixture and keep aside. |
Mix the maida, bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper powder, bread crumbs and required salt in a plate. |
Mix the fish chunks and the flour mixture. |
Deep fry in the oil till golden colour and serve hot. |
Notes: Buttermilk helps to turn the fish chunks into soft. Breadcrumbs helps for crunchy texture. |
