Fish In Spicy Sauce | Easy Indo Chinese Style Fish In Spicy Sauce

Ingredients :

Boneless Fish - 350 gm (2" X 4")
Maida - 1\4 cup
Cornflour - 1\4 cup
Egg White - 1 no
Salt - as required
Oil - 2 tbsp
Ginger - 1 tbsp
Garlic - 1 tbsp
Green Chili - 1 no (finely chopped)
Red Chili Paste - 2 tbsp (blanched)
Soy Sauce - 2 tsp
Honey - 1 tbsp
Tomato Sauce - 2 tbsp
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Pepper Powder -1 tsp
Salt - little
Method :
In a mixing bowl, add the maida, cornflour, egg white and required salt, mix well with required water in a little thin dosa batter consistency. Add the fish pieces and deep fry in the oil, keep aside.
To make the sauce, heat the oil in a kadhai, add the ginger, garlic and green chili, saute until its raw smell leaves. Add the red chili paste, soy sauce, honey, tomato sauce, vinegar, pepper powder and required salt, mix well and bring to boil. Then add quarter cup of water, bring to boil, add one tsp of maida-cornflour batter and cook till sauce consistency.
Add the fish pieces, mix well and serve.
Notes: Soy sauce contains salt, so add the salt carefully to sauce. Also add chili paste, honey and other ingredients as per your taste.

Add 1\4 cup of water and bring to boil. Then add 1 tsp of maida-cornflour batter and cook till sauce consistency.

Finally add the fried fish pieces, mix well and serve hot.

Serving Suggestion: Serve with the plain fried rice or noodles.
