Ingredients :

SiruKeerai Dosai | Healthy and Easy Tropical Amaranth Greens Dosa
Siru Keerai \ Amaranth Greens - 1 and 1/2 cup (chopped)
Shallots - 1/3 cup (chopped)
Green Chili -1 no (finely chopped)
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Garlic - 2 cloves (finely chopped)
Dosai Batter - 1 and 1/2 cup (+ or -)
Salt to Taste.

Method :

Steps To Make The Siru Keerai Dosai :

  • In a mixing bowl combine the siru keerai \ tropical amaranth greens with dosai batter, shallots, green chilli, garlic, cumin seeds and required salt, mix well. (Image 1 and 2)
  • If the batter is too thick, add required water and mix well.
  • To make dosai, heat a iron tawa \ non-stick tawa, put a ladle full of batter on the tawa, tilt in a circular motion by using ladle and smear little oil. (Image 3)
  • When the side turn golden colour, flip it and cook till done. (Image 4)
  • Do the same for the remaining batter.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Sambar and Coconut Chutney.
