Also used simple ingredients to make the chapathi. Yesterday night only mom told me this tri colour chapathi idea for republic day. Because of jallikattu I forget everything. Chapathi

Steps To Make The Tri Colour Chapathi:

Preparation: Make the maida dough and rest for 30minutes. In the meantime, make the tri-colour mixture.
To make the green peas mixture, grind the mint leaves, coriander leaves and green chili into paste with some water and keep aside. Then grind the green peas into paste without water and keep aside.
Chapathi
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a kadhai, add the mint-coriander paste and cook till its raw smell leaves. Then add the ground green peas and cook for three to five minutes. Then add the required salt and garam masala, mix well and cook for an minute. Now the green mixture is ready, keep aside and cool completely.
To make the white mixture, mix the grated paneer, white pepper powder and some salt, mix well and the white mixture is ready.
Chapathi
To make the orange colour mixture, heat a tablespoon of oil in a kadhai, add the onion and green chili, saute till the onion turns slightly golden colour. Then add the grated carrot and cook till soft. Also add the required salt in between. Then take out the green chili, cool the mixture and orange colour is ready.
Chapathi
To make the tri colour chapathi, Divide the maida dough into three equal parts, roll into circle with flour and keep aside. Take one rolled dough, spread the peas mixture on top and leaving the side as one inch apart. Place the second rolled dough on the top of peas mixture and spread the panner mixture. Then place the third rolled dough and spread the carrot mixture. Also apply some water at the sides of each layers. Roll them and cut into one and half inch thickeness, shown in image 18. Take a plastic sheet, grease with some oil, place a piece of sliced dough and spread into chapathi with greased fingers. Then cook slowly on hot tawa with required oil or butter and serve hot. Do the same for the remaining.
Chapathi
My Notes: Don't roll the tri-colour dough with rolling pin, for that use greased finger and spread into chapathi.
Serving Suggestion: Serve the tri-colour chapathi with the onion raita.
