Ingredients : |
Mutton | Attu Kari - 500gm (1", boneless) |
Turmeric Powder - 1\2 tsp |
Oil - 2 tsp + 2 tsp |
Onion - 1\2 no (sliced) |
Tomato - 1\2 no (sliced) |
Red Chili Powder - 1\2 tsp + 1\2 tsp |
Cinnamon Stick - 2" |
Cloves - 3 no |
Crushed Ginger Garlic - 1 tsp |
Curry Leaves - 1 stk |
Red Chili Powder - 1\2 tsp |
Pepper Powder - 1\2 tsp |
Salt To Taste |
Coriander Leaves - 1 tbsp (finely chopped) |
Method : |
Pressure cook the mutton with turmeric powder, required salt and 1\2 cup of water for 1 whistle over high flame and 15mins over simmer. When all the steam has released, open the pan and keep aside. |
Heat oil in a kadhai, saute the onion until slightly golden colour. Add the tomato and saute until soft. Add the red chili powder and required salt, stir for few seconds. |
Cool them and grind into fine paste with required water, keep aside. |
To make the sukka, heat the remaining oil in a kadhai, roast the cinnamon stick and cloves. Add the ginger garlic, saute until raw smell leaves. |
Add the curry leaves and ground paste. Stir well. |
Add the cooked mutton and mix well. |
Add the red chili powder and pepper powder, mix well and cook until dry. |
Finally add the coriander leaves, mix well and the sukka is ready. |
Notes: Always open the pressure cooker pan, when all the steam released. |
