Butter - 2 tsps |
Oil - 2 tsps |
Cinnamon Stick - 2" |
Cloves - 5 nos |
Onion - 1 no (finely chopped) |
Garlic - 1 tbsp (finely chopped) |
Green Chili - 1 no (finely chopped) |
Mullangi | Radish - 4 to 5 nos (grated) |
Salt - as required |
Fennel Seeds Powder - 1\2 tsp |
Pepper Powder - 1\2 tsp |
Unsweetened Khoya - 1\2 cup (grated) |
Raisins - 2 to 3 tbsps (chopped) |
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp (chopped) |
Wheat Chapathi Dough - required |
Oil - to cook. |
Method : |
For the stuffing, heat the butter and oil in a kadhai, add the cinnamon stick, cloves, onion, garlic and green chili, saute until the onion turns slightly golden color. Add the mullangi, saute for about two minutes. Then add the required salt, fennel seeds powder and pepper powder. Mix and cook until its water reduced completely, by stirring frequently. After that add the unsweetened khoya, raisins and coriander leaves, mix well. Let it cool completely. |
Take some chapathi dough, stuff some mullangi stuffing and roll into circle. Cook with required oil and serve hot. |
Notes: cook the mullangi stuffing into dry and then use them to stuff. |
